About the Role

Are you passionate about understanding user behavior and transforming insights into impactful product improvements? We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team as a Usability Researcher. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that new features and experiences deliver success for our users. You will dive deep into the user journey, identifying pain points and opportunities, and directly influencing the evolution of widely used products. Your research will shape the future of user interaction, making a tangible difference for a global audience.

What You'll Do



  • Conduct research on target audience opinions and user experience of product features, collaborating with the broader user research team, Designers, Product management, marketing, applied science and engineering.
  • Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, interviews, unmoderated testing, or arrange to obtain existing data.
  • Gather data on competitors to understand the competitive landscape, user experience and perceptions.
  • Measure the effectiveness of in-product and proposed user experience for the product.


Must-Have Qualifications



  • Bachelors, Masters or PhD degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science or relevant Psychology degree (Masters/ PhD preferred) or equivalent training required.
  • 0-2 years related experience required.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
  • Basic knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications



  • Ability to work with agility and communicate research insights with clarity and actionability for product teams.
  • Experience owning a study end-to-end within a fast-paced environment (e.g., a week or two turnaround).
  • Adept at understanding complex technical products.
  • Openness to leveraging AI, with the ability to verify output and ask the right prompts.
