A Taste of What You'll Do Join GALLO as a Team Leader and help create a workplace where people can do their best work safely, collaboratively, and with pride. In this hands-on leadership role, you will guide a team of union employees with diverse experiences and backgrounds while supporting daily operations across manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain environments. You will lead day-to-day work, coordinate with cross-functional partners, build effective work plans, and provide timely updates on floor activity. You'll coach, mentor, and develop team members through regular one-on-one conversations, performance feedback, skill-building, and goal setting. You will also support talent selection, workforce planning, timecard approval, change initiatives, and-when needed-site crisis response. Safety, quality, and respect are central to this role. You will foster an environment where every team member feels empowered to identify hazards, speak up, and contribute ideas. You'll coach safe work practices, food safety, GMPs, Job Safety Analysis, and standard work while supporting incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and proactive risk reduction. You will help ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, as well as applicable collective bargaining agreements. You will bring curiosity and operational discipline to solving problems, improving performance, and using Lean principles to strengthen processes. You'll learn the equipment and systems in your area, share technical knowledge with the team, and help manage changes thoughtfully through established processes. This role also supports responsible stewardship of resources by monitoring staffing, material usage, production forecasts, and budget trends.
