Cybersecurity Network Analyst

We are seeking a Tactical Networks Cybersecurity Analyst to support critical U.S. Navy tactical network programs by leading and executing cybersecurity activities across the Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle. This role is responsible for coordinating Assessment & Authorization (A&A) efforts, developing RMF documentation, performing cybersecurity assessments, and supporting systems through Authorization to Operate (ATO). The ideal candidate has experience supporting Navy RMF initiatives, is highly proficient with eMASS, ACAS, and NIST RMF, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment where cybersecurity directly supports mission-critical systems.

• Prepare, develop, and maintain RMF artifacts, packages, and documentation supporting system validation and Authorization to Operate (ATO).

• Coordinate cybersecurity activities supporting Assessment & Authorization (A&A) package planning and development.

• Perform risk assessments and vulnerability analyses across networks, systems, and applications.

• Develop mitigation strategies for identified cybersecurity risks and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.

• Coordinate daily cybersecurity operations with technical leads and program stakeholders.

• Maintain RMF documentation for authorized system baseline variants.

• Develop and present cybersecurity status briefings to senior government stakeholders.

• Analyze and implement National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) security controls.

• Create and maintain system architecture documentation including Boundary Diagrams and Data Flow Diagrams.

• Minimum 4 years of cybersecurity, engineering, Test & Evaluation (T&E), or Assessment & Authorization (A&A) experience.

• Minimum 4 years supporting Information Technology (IT) systems within the DoD or another U.S. Government agency.

• Minimum 3 years leading Navy RMF projects supporting systems up to the TS/SCI level.

• Experience preparing, developing, and maintaining RMF artifacts, security packages, and ATO documentation.

• Experience implementing cybersecurity controls and performing compliance testing using industry-standard security tools.

• Experience conducting vulnerability analysis and remediation across networks, systems, and communications protocols.

• Hands-on experience with eMASS, including:

  • Security Plan development

  • Package processing through workflow

  • Assessment documentation

  • Risk documentation

  • Mitigation recommendations

• Experience with:

  • Windows, Linux, Networking, Virtualization, Container technologies

• Experience creating and maintaining cybersecurity architecture documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or another related technical discipline.

• DoD 8140 qualified (equivalent to former DoD 8570 IAT Level II minimum).

• Experience with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).

• Experience using Evaluate-STIG.

• Experience with ACAS.

• Experience implementing cybersecurity automation.

• Experience deploying and integrating enterprise cybersecurity tools.

• Experience with:

  • Network firewalls, Web application firewalls, Web proxies, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Vulnerability scanners, Penetration testing tools

• Experience supporting U.S. Navy PMW 160 programs including:

  • CANES, Platform Application Services (PAS), Agile Core Services (ACS), Automated Digital Network System (ADNS)

You'll support some of the Navy's most critical tactical networking and cybersecurity initiatives while working alongside highly technical engineers and cybersecurity professionals.
