Join our team as a Property Manager at the Harbor at State and Main! Are you an experienced affordable housing professional who is passionate about creating a welcoming community and supporting residents? Join our team at the Harbor at State and Main! In this role, you'll lead day-to-day property operations, and help create a stable, supportive environment where residents can thrive. What You'll Do
Lead the daily operations of the affordable housing community, ensuring strong occupancy, resident satisfaction, and financial performance. Lead and support the onsite team Oversee leasing, resident relations, rent collection, budgeting, financial reporting, and overall property performance. Manage affordable housing compliance and resident certifications across LIHTC, and other applicable programs, partnering closely with the Compliance team. Build strong relationships with residents and collaborate with onsite Resident Services to support housing stability and provide trauma-informed, resident-centered service. Oversee property maintenance, unit turns, inspections, vendor relationships, and the overall appearance, safety, and condition of the community. Address resident concerns and operational challenges with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-oriented approach.
What You'll Bring
3+ years of property management experience in an affordable housing environment. Previous experience working with LIHTC Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and a commitment to trauma-informed, resident-centered service delivery. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Previous supervisory experience and the ability to manage budgets, financial performance, and property operations.
