Job Summary

Our in-house Marketing team supports TDIndustries' business development efforts through strategic customer communication, presentation support, RFP response, and proposal creation. We are seeking an experienced Proposal Specialist committed to developing high-quality, compelling proposals and qualifications in response to client requests, including RFQs, RFPs, and prequalification submissions.

This role is responsible for supporting the strategic development of commercial (B2B) proposals and requires expertise in written communication and project management. Responsibilities include the development, maintenance, and execution of compliant and compelling proposals, RFP responses, and pitch meeting materials. The Proposal Specialist demonstrates outstanding communication skills, a keen eye for detail, excellent project management skills, and the ability to manage concurrent workstreams while approaching each initiative with a positive, can-do attitude.


Essential Duties

  • Coordinate and support the end-to-end proposal development process, from intake to final submission
  • Review RFQs/RFPs to identify requirements, compliance needs, and deadlines
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape win themes, messaging, and positioning across written and visual proposal materials
  • Draft, edit, and format proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with brand standards
  • Customize resumes, project profiles, and boilerplate content for each pursuit
  • Maintain and update proposal content libraries, including resumes, project sheets, and standard narratives
  • Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards for accuracy, completeness, and professionalism
  • Support the development of presentations, interview materials, and related marketing collateral as needed
  • Track proposal progress and maintain organized records of submissions and outcomes
  • Assist in continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and content

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Business or related field required
  • 3+ years of experience in proposal development
  • Ability to work in office is required
  • This role is a deadline oriented position and will occasionally require night/weekend/holiday hours.
  • Knowledge of construction industry is a plus
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong understanding of proposal best practices, compliance requirements, and review processes
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong team-oriented mindset
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with Adobe InDesign preferred
