The Senior School Support Associate (Senior SSA) helps ensure the effective operation of front office functions across schools by covering School Support Associate (SSA) vacancies and leaves and providing additional support at schools during audits and when preparing for accreditation/re-accreditation. This position collaborates with the Sr. Coordinator of School Support and Facilities to assist with SSA onboarding, training, and support. The Senior SSA maintains up-to-date SSA resources and supports continuous improvement in front desk operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES /ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
* Provide training, onboarding, and ongoing support to SSAs on front desk procedures and best practices. Oversee the development, maintenance, and accessibility of all front SSA resources, procedures, and documentation. Help build SSA capacity to understand and apply internal procedures and regulatory requirements, and how to effectively monitor those requirements. Function as back-up for SSAs for CACFP and KidKare data entry, review and monitoring, and monthly approval/submission of data.
* Cover SSA positions at schools in the event of vacancies and leaves of absence. * Provide additional support at schools to prepare for and during audits, regulatory visits, NAEYC re-accreditation, and the like.
* Attend and contribute to monthly SSA meetings to support alignment and continuous improvement in SSA and front desk processes.
* Work collaboratively with School Leadership and ECP Leadership to identify common or systemic challenges at the SSA level and to help generate options for solutions to these challenges.
* Support scheduling of events at schools and between schools and Headquarters.
* Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* 3 years of clerical or administrative experience, including experience in an SSA role at a school.
* Bilingual strongly preferred.

* Must have strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to completing assignments on a timely basis.
* Must be able to analyze data and interpret program regulations.
* Must have proven successful interpersonal relationship skills to maintain effective and satisfactory working relationships with intra-department and inter-department staff, vendors, clients, visitors, and contractors.
* Ability to follow oral and written instructions with ability to read, interpret, and present information efficiently and effectively.
* Must be able to accurately audit records and ensure compliance with written or oral guidelines.
* Ability to take initiative, multi-task and work well under pressure.
* Must maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive data, records, files, conversations, etc. Basic-Intermediate MS
Office skills, working knowledge of accounting and budgeting practices.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Primarily an office position with some local travel (exposure to normal traffic hazards). Will be working in filing cabinets which require bending, stooping, lifting, pushing and pulling throughout the day. Must have the ability to stoop, kneel, crawl, stretch, lift and/or carry children weighing up to fifty (50) pounds and attend to children who are developmentally delayed. Must be willing to work in noisy and stressful environment. Regular and reliable attendance required must be flexible with hours in order to cover site-operating hours.
