JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY: Leads the strategic design, development, pricing, and ongoing performance of Wealth Management products, ensuring they are competitive, compliant, and aligned with customer and enterprise objectives. Oversees execution of product strategies, roadmaps, and supporting toolsets to drive profitability, growth, and retention.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define and execute product and pricing strategies aligned with short- and long-term corporate and Wealth Management objectives.

  • Monitor industry, competitive, customer, and regulatory trends to proactively shape the product management agenda, address pricing gaps, improve processes, enhance efficiency, and mitigate risk.

  • Designs, develops, and implements new products and enhancements in partnership with internal stakeholders and external vendors

  • Collaborate with Market and Line of Business leaders to solicit new product ideas and pricing strategies for improvement and ensure stakeholder buy-in and alignment on proposed solutions.

  • Support or lead projects such as new product launches. Build, present, and defend product business cases to key stakeholders, influence implementation business decisions, and navigate required governance and approval forums.

  • Support marketing and sales efforts by contributing to product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.

  • Monitors the profitability of existing products and services, recommending enhancements to improve profitability, effectiveness, and efficiency of products and services to achieve short and long term strategic goals.

  • Serve as the product and pricing subject matter expert and liaison between Market/LOB leaders and numerous internal departments, including Marketing, Sales, Delivery Channel, Compliance, Operations, Technology, Finance, Credit, Risk and other bank Product Management groups.

  • Lead assigned product mapping strategies in connection with mergers, acquisitions, and platform conversions.

  • Establish and oversee advisory product analytics with ongoing maintenance of analytics and reporting processes and work with Finance on ongoing advisory business analytics.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.

  • 6 years of experience in financial institutions required.

  • 3 years Brokerage, Trust, and/or Investment Management experience required.

  • Knowledge in the following areas preferred: regulations governing bank products, marketing-strategy development, data analytics, and bank's operating systems.

  • Proven collaboration, influencing and consensus building skills that support leading, managing, and working collaboratively with peers and executive management.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills.

  • Demonstrated creative thinking skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Presentation skills.

  • Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel.

  • Ability to work on issues across a range of disciplines including marketing, pricing, operations, technology and compliance/legal.

ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:

  • Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines

  • Ability to travel

  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 20 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division an "undue hardship" then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
