Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Maintenance Developer

Perform Reliability Centered Maintenance Analysis (RCMA) and Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) Development for United States Coast Guard (USCG) Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) systems and equipment utilized throughout the service.

As required by our governmental client, this position requires an active SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain an active SECRET clearance to qualify.

A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for RCM Maintenance Developer: Pay commensurate with experience.

Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

RCM Maintenance Developer Responsibilities Include:

  • Complete Reliability-Centered Maintenance Analysis (RCMA) in accordance with MIL-STD-3034 (series) (Navy).

  • Develop Maintenance Requirement List (MRL), List of Effective Pages (LOEP) and Maintenance Index Pages (MIPs). Format will be as directed by USCG.

  • Develop HM&E MPCs that will be ready for publication. MPC content will be developed using the Coast Guard's Maintenance Development process covered in CGTO PG-85-00-230-G, Joint Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) Development Process Guide (Current Version/Edition) and current standards and practices.

  • Support the CG-22 process through RCMA, MPC development, and MPC updates.

  • Attend meetings and conferences.

RCM Maintenance Developer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Logistics Management, Maintenance Management, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline; and

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting maintenance planning, maintenance analysis, maintenance procedure development, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), logistics support, engineering support, or related maintenance management activities.
  • Six (6) years of experience in USCG or DOD Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) maintenance development.

  • Hold a current RCM Level-II Maintenance Analysis Certification by the USCG or NAVSEA or obtain Certification within six (6) months of hire date.
  • Be familiar with the following USCG SFLC Process Guides and Desk Guides:
    • SFLC Asset Life-Cycle Information Repository (LCIR) Process Guide CGTO PG-85-00-2270-G or current version.
    • Engineering Condition Based Maintenance Process Guide CGTO PG-85-00-400-S or current version.
    • Joint Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) Development Process Guide CGTO PG-85-00-230-G or current version,
    • Joint Maintenance Procedure Card (MPC) Development Desk Guide Version 1.3 or current version.
  • Ability to pass a NACI background investigation and obtain a government issued Common Access Card (CAC) to access USCG IT systems and facilities.
  • Ability to obtain SECRET level clearance upon direction of the USCG.
  • Must pass pre-employment requirements of Cherokee Federal.
