What to Expect
This position is expected to begin around August/September 2026 and continue through December 2026. Internships at Tesla are generally full-time, onsite roles that last a minimum of 12 weeks. International Students: If your work authorization is via CPT, consult your school regarding your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week onsite. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year. About the Team Service Engineering is responsible for real-time diagnostic support for the service network (the field), development and improvement of diagnostic tools and procedures, and feedback of top field issues to our development teams to improve current and future products. The Onboard Diagnostics Team focuses on diagnostic and repair firmware that runs on the vehicle. We are responsible for accelerating the speed and reliability of vehicle side diagnostics for Tesla service centers and third parties.Tesla is seeking an intern that is passionate about the product, a strong critical thinker, and capable of understanding technical system-level architecture and issues.
