What You'll Do

As a CAD Technician, you will be a cornerstone of our design team, translating innovative concepts into precise, actionable layouts that drive operational excellence. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure that every square foot of our advanced logistics facilities is optimized for performance and efficiency. You will play a direct role in the successful deployment of sophisticated automation, seeing your designs come to life and impact global operations.



  • Create and meticulously maintain detailed floor layouts using AutoCAD across all design phases, from initial concept to final deployment.
  • Ensure the highest level of precision in all designs, including proper cell grid alignment, optimal component spacing, and proactive resolution of physical interferences such as columns, HVAC systems, expansion joints, and fire shutters.
  • Guarantee strict compliance with all design checklists and standardized naming conventions to maintain consistency and clarity across all projects.
  • Generate critical deployment deliverables that guide the successful implementation of new facility designs.
  • Interpret complex building shell composites and external references to integrate new designs seamlessly within existing structures.
  • Produce comprehensive, standardized drawing sets that are essential for supporting and expanding a global network of advanced logistics facilities.


What You'll Bring



  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on operating experience in CAD, demonstrating proficiency in working with and managing complex layers.
  • An Associate's Degree in Drafting and Design, providing a strong foundational understanding of design principles and tools.
  • At least 1 year of practical experience in drafting and design within a warehouse, logistics facility, or manufacturing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of material handling and storage systems, enabling you to design practical and efficient layouts.

  • Experience with conveyor design and layout, adding another layer of expertise to facility optimization.
  • A degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, offering a deeper understanding of operational flows and system integration.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, translating technical details into clear insights.
  • Experience in leading small groups or projects, showcasing your potential for growth and leadership.
