Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of title and real estate closing processes.
• Familiarity with legal and lender requirements related to real estate transactions.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills for clearing title issues.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities; able to meet strict deadlines.
• Proficiency with title software and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Duties:

• Conduct thorough title searches to identify any defects, encumbrances, or legal issues affecting property ownership.
• Review title commitments and resolve title exceptions by obtaining necessary releases, affidavits, or legal documents.
• Prepare and assemble all required documentation for real estate closings, including closing disclosures, deeds, settlement statements, and supporting paperwork.
• Coordinate with attorneys to ensure all legal and lender requirements are satisfied before closing.
• Verify accuracy of all closing documents and funds in compliance with state, federal, and lender regulations.
• Communicate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and lenders regarding title status and closing procedures.
• Manage escrow accounts and ensure proper disbursement of funds at closing (if applicable).
• Maintain detailed records and ensure timely recording of documents with the appropriate authorities.
