Hourly Pay Range:

$82.25 - $127.49 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

  • Full Time/Part Time: Full time
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 - 5:00pm

What you will do:

  • Senior leader accountable for building and operating Endeavor Health's in-house Clinical Engineering (CE) program - covering service of all therapeutic and diagnostic medical devices, replacement planning and procurement, and centralized asset management. Sets strategy, drives financial and operational performance, and partners with clinical and service-line leadership to maximize equipment safety, uptime, and value across the system.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership of the clinical engineering program; direct, supervise, and develop CE management and staff
  • Create and monitor operating and capital budgets; track financial and performance outcomes against system objectives
  • Lead integration of new and innovative CE operations and services aligned to mission, vision, and values
  • Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies
  • Develop and execute the system strategic plan for replacement of diagnostic and therapeutic equipment
  • Define metrics for procurement and replacement effectiveness; drive equipment standardization and utilization with service-line leaders
  • Provide expert clinical-technology guidance; participate in safety event investigations and emerging-technology evaluation
  • Identify, monitor, and resolve clinical-technology risks that could affect care delivery
  • Own full HR responsibilities for CE staff: hiring, development, performance, compensation, retention, and morale

What you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Business, Health Care Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
  • Experience: 15+ years in clinical engineering or healthcare technology management or an equivalent technical discipline; 10+ years of management experience in clinical engineering or healthcare technology management within a healthcare system or large multi-operational environment.
