Your Job

DEPCOM Power is seeking a General Foreman to lead pile-driving operations on utility-scale solar projects. In this role, you will oversee crew performance, ensure safe and accurate pile installation, and maintain production goals. You will support overall project execution through strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and coordination across the job site.

Travel: This is a site-based role with home trip rotations (typically every 3-4 weeks).

The DEPCOM In-House Construction group directly executes mechanical work on utility-scale solar projects.

What You Will Do

  • Lead, coach, and supervise the pile-driving crew to meet production goals safely and on schedule while maximizing individual and team contributions
  • Provide oversight and coordination across multiple pile-driving crews to ensure alignment with project priorities and schedule milestones
  • Enforce all safety procedures, conduct safety walk-arounds, and support a strong safety culture
  • Ensure piles are installed accurately and meet specifications, tolerances, and project blueprint requirements
  • Plan and assign daily work while coordinating equipment, materials, and workflow to optimize production efficiency and maintain schedule commitments
  • Partner with site leadership, superintendents, and project teams to proactively address risks, resource needs, and production challenges
  • Complete daily reports, track production, and submit timesheets and required documentation accurately and on time
  • Troubleshoot on-site issues, anticipate schedule or staffing impacts, and make decisions to maintain project progress
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and ensure all pile-driving equipment is properly maintained

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience in construction or solar projects with direct pile-driving experience
  • Experience reading and interpreting project plans, blueprints, and specifications
  • Proficiency operating and troubleshooting pile-driving equipment, including experience with multiple hammer types (e.g., hydraulic, vibratory)

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience leading multiple crews or working in a General Foreman or equivalent leadership role on large-scale construction or solar projects
  • Experience with timber, steel, and concrete pile installation techniques across varying soil conditions

For this role, we anticipate paying $33 - $36 per hour. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
