Job Summary The Nurse Practice Manager is responsible for the operational, clinical, and fiscal oversight of assigned patient care areas to ensure the delivery of high-quality, individualized patient care aligned with Medical Center standards and philosophies. This role oversees daily staffing, planning, organization, direction, and coordination of unit operations and clinical practice. Responsibilities include budget preparation and fiscal management, participation in research initiatives, support of patient advocacy, and contribution to both short- and long-term strategic planning efforts. Reporting to the Clinical Director of Satellite Oncology Services and the Executive Director of Oncology Services, the Nurse Practice Manager fosters a professional practice environment by leading and developing a clinically competent staff, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and effective communication, encouraging accountability and autonomy, and supporting ongoing professional development through in-service training and formal education opportunities. Department Overview Satellite Oncology Services Hematology/Oncology Clinics provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care supported by the expertise, innovation, and quality standards of an academic medical center. This position is responsible for overseeing clinical operations across multiple practice locations, including the Hematology/Oncology Clinics at Rocklin PCH and Folsom MCC, as well as the Benign Hematology, Hemophilia Treatment Center (HTC), and Survivorship Clinic services at the C-Street location. The clinics deliver coordinated, specialty-focused care utilizing advanced diagnostic capabilities, evidence-based treatment protocols, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Services are designed to promote continuity of care, enhance the patient experience, and support seamless coordination across the continuum of oncology and hematology care. POSITION INFORMATION
