Position Title: Program Manager

Work Location: St. Joseph, MO 64506

Assignment Duration: 24 Months (Possibility of Conversion)

Work Schedule: 1st shift, minimum 45 hours per week

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Position Summary:

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for the design, construction, and commissioning of a large-scale animal vaccine manufacturing facility.
  • Manage capital project budget, schedule, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget execution.



Background & Context:

  • This role supports The Organization's major capital investment to design, build, and commission a large-scale animal vaccine manufacturing facility.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for the design, construction, and commissioning of a large-scale animal vaccine manufacturing facility
  • Manage capital project budget, schedule, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget execution
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, quality, validation, and regulatory affairs
  • Serve as primary interface with architects, EPC firms, contractors, and equipment suppliers
  • Establish and maintain project governance, reporting, and risk management frameworks



Qualification & Experience:

  • Proven understanding of the capital project lifecycle and FEL process.
  • Proven ability to influence decision making with executive level stakeholders.
  • Proven exceptional social and diplomacy skills
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team across a multi-departmental project with direct and indirect management of functional resources
  • Excellent communication and organization skills, with an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Documented success with leading capital projects in excess of (USD)100MM.
  • Proven ability to operate under high-pressure in a timeline constrained environment.



Skills:

  • Experience managing large capital projects, including new buildings or building expansions, preferably within pharma or bio industry.



Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering/construction field (Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical preferred) or equivalent experience.
