Job Description:
* Performs various scientific analyses to evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods and ensure compliance with established standards.
* Conducts and validates various chemical quality control (QC) testing.
* Compiles, interprets, and documents statistical data from testing processes to either confirm compliance with established quality standards or identify deviations.
* May be responsible for establishing specifications for conducting testing and writing standard operating procedures.
* Typically requires a bachelor's degree.
* Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
* Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.
* Works under direct supervision.

Description:
* Technician will perform routine quality control (QC) testing of PPG urethane materials per testing specifications.
* The role will focus on material handling, use of testing equipment, documentation of test results, and support in updating testing specifications.
* Technician will have routine communication with manufacturing operators, quality, supply chain, engineering, and S&T focals to test and confirm incoming materials are compliant for use in manufacturing of aerospace transparencies.
