WHAT YOU WILL DO EVERYDAY
Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional teams to execute all marketing project efforts. Utilize project management skills to support the team in executing its annual roadmap initiatives in support of the credit union's strategic growth goals. Assist in expanding and improving project processes and communications. Develop creative, high-quality marketing assets within set timelines. Success depends on the ability to multi-task, multi-manage, and prioritize. #LI-Onsite
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
The primary role is that of team coordinator and to independently provide project management for select programs and projects.
- Collaborate with Marketing Project Lead to develop and execute all marketing elements that affect the physical delivery channels, e.g. branch signage (interior and exterior); multi-media; posters; ATMs and ITMs; Ascend Federal Credit Union Amphitheater signage; etc.
- Serve as the main point of contact with signage vendors in coordinating plans for implementing updates. Continually review and ensure all branch signage is up-to-date in and in good quality. Track all work tickets/down-time and evaluate the need to replace equipment using discretionary authority to resolve issues related to equipment problems.
- Serve as main point of contact for all external advertising requests. Ensure that all requests are reviewed internally & project approvals/denials are communicated back to the requesting organization.
- Collaborate with credit union team members to successfully execute marketing events such as grand openings, member open house, and/or groundbreakings.
- Serve as main point of contact for Ascend's intranet. Update and load various forms for employee information and use. Post electronic version of all marketing campaign elements. Edit and post articles for employee communications.
- Serve as main point of contact for the Marketing Department with internal creative project requests. Insure that projects are built-out in Asana and that projects are completed on time.
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop content for staff meetings and learning events.
- Assist in creating and revising marketing brochures, sales materials, and member/employee communication.
- Assist with coordination of all Ascend Federal Credit Union Amphitheater-related marketing efforts.
- Keeps forms, brochures, print advertisements and other promotional materials fresh and current with up-to-date revisions and new creative.
- Serve as credit union historian; maintain Ascend's history/timeline; and archive all issues of credit union newsletters and reports.
- Serve as main point of contact for the Marketing team, fielding and directing phone calls if necessary.
- Serve as main point of contact for daily mail delivery and distribution.
- Ensure that projects meet deadlines and are on budget.
- Enthusiastically participate in a team environment.
- Read all internal publications including HUB and Possibilities.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Education
- Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations, or related field is required
Work Experience
- 1-3 years of similar or related experience is required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Mastery of basic marketing and public relations theory and practice.
- Exceptional organization and multi-tasking skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with various internal teams to create compelling marketing content.
- Excellent written and spoken presentation skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects concurrently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to produce good-quality content with tight deadlines while remaining flexible and handling changing priorities.
- Ability to self-start and exercise initiative, good judgment, creativity and diplomacy.
- Resourceful and accountable team player and collaborator.
- Must present a friendly, courteous and professional image to credit union members, potential field of membership companies, outside vendors, and co-workers.
- Possession of a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- Expert level skills in all Microsoft Office programs.
- Must be able to use or have the ability to be trained to use related office equipment, including calculator, personal computer, Macintosh desktop publishing system, camera, laser printers and multifunction copier.
- Regular and reliable attendance is required.
