$119,912.00 - $152,131.20

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Otolaryngology (ENT), Worcester MA

UMass Memorial Medical Group and the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team. Our competitive compensation and benefits package places us as your top choice in the region.

This full-time opportunity offers a balanced practice with approximately 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient responsibilities, providing care to both pediatric and adult patients across a broad spectrum of ENT conditions.

The selected APP will join an experienced and collaborative team of seven Advanced Practice Providers and will become the eighth APP supporting continued growth in clinical volume and expanding inpatient service needs. Working alongside attending physicians, residents, audiologists, and multidisciplinary team members, the APP will play an integral role in delivering comprehensive otolaryngology care across the continuum.

This position offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule with no call, weekend, or holiday responsibilities and provides extensive mentorship, training, and support for candidates interested in developing a career in Otolaryngology.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient ENT care
  • Conduct patient rounds, evaluate inpatient consults, and collaborate with residents and attending physicians on care planning.
  • Manage an independent outpatient panel, including new patient evaluations, follow-up appointments, and post-operative care.
  • Develop treatment plans, review diagnostic results, and coordinate ongoing patient management.
  • Document patient encounters in the EMR and communicate with patients through the patient portal.
  • Collaborate with referring providers, Audiology, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
  • Massachusetts Medical License, DEA and CSR, with national certification (ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, as applicable)
  • Prior APP experience preferred; ENT experience is a plus, but not required. New graduates with a strong interest in Otolaryngology are encouraged to apply.
