Head of Business Architecture and Product Ownership This is a rare opportunity to step into a newly created senior leadership role at a pivotal moment in American Modern's transformation journey. As Head of Business Architecture and Product Ownership, you will help shape how strategy becomes execution across the enterprise, building the capability roadmap, product ownership discipline, and governance practices that will support long-term growth, modernization, and business impact. Reporting to the Chief Digital and Operations Officer, this leader will have executive visibility and the opportunity to influence across business, technology, data, operations, and transformation teams. The role is designed for someone who can connect the big picture to practical execution, turning complex priorities into clear roadmaps, scalable capabilities, and measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate is a strategic change leader who thrives in a highly collaborative environment and can earn trust across American Modern business leaders, Munich Re stakeholders, technology and data partners, product owners, transformation teams, and external partners. The Company is open to considering candidates in numerous locations, including Princeton (NJ), New York (NY), Chicago (IL), or Cincinnati (OH). The salary range posted below reflects market variations across various locations. The offer will be adjusted per geography. The base salary range anticipated for this position is $175,000 - $250,000, plus opportunity for company bonus based upon a percentage of eligible pay. In addition, the company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, 401k match, retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO). The salary estimate is adjusted to reflect the varying market conditions across different locations, with the with the higher end being more aligned with the New York job market. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.
