This role is responsible for the safe transportation, loading, and unloading of compressed gas cylinders between locations while maintaining meticulous documentation and vehicle safety inspections. You will professionally manage associate and customer relations, operate warehouse equipment like forklifts, and strictly adhere to all hazardous material safety protocols.

• Operations & Deliveries: Safely fill pressurized bulk liquid gas tankers and manage the loading, delivery, and unloading of supplies to and from service trucks on a daily assigned route. This includes filling customer Microbulk tanks as required.

• Documentation & Compliance: Record all deliveries and pick-ups on load manifests and obtain customer signatures. Ensure all vehicle documentation is properly completed, balanced with truck counts, and compliant with DOT, OSHA, and Airgas SAFECOR safety regulations.

• Customer Service: Establish and maintain positive relations with customers, monitor gas levels, and promptly address or escalate service inquiries and complaints. Maintain a professional appearance at all times.

• Safety & Maintenance: Perform required pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections, documenting any deficiencies. Monitor customer units for safe and efficient operation, strictly observe all safety rules, use required PPE, and immediately report any accidents or injuries.

• Route & Data Management: Assist management with route evaluations to improve efficiency and utilize On-Board Computers to ensure data accuracy.

• Warehouse Operations: Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, and support dock operations as needed. This includes the physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and push/pull up to 800 pounds.

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid Class B or better CDL.
• Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
• Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.
• Must have at least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience within the last 5 years.
• DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required.
• Ability to routinely lift 25 - 75 lbs., and occasionally lift 76 to greater than 100 lbs w/ the use of equipment.
• Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures.
• Ability to maintain a drug-free workplace.
• Adherence to safety regulations and policies.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift Experience
• Touch freight delivery experience
