| Position Summary |
The Education Division plays a critical role in advancing North Carolina PBS's mission through educational content and community engagement initiatives across the state. Within the division, the Children's Media is produced for multiplatform engagement and the brand of North Carolina's 24/7
PBS
KIDS Channel, Rootle. Rootle's extensive content requirements demand a high level of expertise to curate localized content for both broadcast and streaming platforms, ensuring comprehensive educational coverage for audiences across North Carolina. The Post-Production Editor supports the Education Division by making creative and technical decisions in assembling recorded audio and video materials into complete programs for digital and broadcast platforms. Leaving this position vacant will inevitably lead to a deterioration in the quality of content accessible to North Carolinians, resulting in an overall stagnation of the trusted educational brand for young learners and families.
