Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and driven individual to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. As part of the Talent Acquisition team, you are responsible for working alongside a team of Recruiters, HRBPs, and Hiring Managers to understand and support the growing manufacturing and operations for Dorman. This is a hybrid role, with onsite support required at our Warsaw, KY and Madison, IN facilities.

Primary Duties

  • Partnering with hiring managers in developing sourcing strategies, suggesting where to find top talent and executing on the strategy
  • Sources candidates by utilization of recruitment best practices, incorporates use of current sourcing strategies including optimization of Search Engines, Social Networks, Recruiting Research, Candidate Generation, Candidate Experience and Relationship Management
  • Develop recruiting materials designed to attract qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate a structured interview process to ensure candidates are interviewed, assessments are completed, and candidates are worked through the hiring process.
  • Effectively evaluate candidate responses during the interview process.
  • Manage the support processes for Talent Acquisition: background checks, drug screening, and pre-employment testing, and coordinates hiring related administrative process.
  • Makes employment recommendations and compiles employment offers.
  • Prepare requisitions in partnership with compensation and obtains the necessary approvals to begin the recruiting process.
  • Track proposed metrics around recruiting activities.
  • Responsible for reporting on recruiting activity, conduct trend analysis, and make recommendations for change.
  • Participate in recruitment and selection research projects and recommends process changes to increase candidate flow.
  • Effectively describes the offer, manages expectations, overcomes objections, and closes candidates.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to support an innovative, fast-growth environment.
  • Understanding of using social media to recruit
  • Solid knowledge and experience with behavioral interviewing.
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills that preserve relationships required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-rounded recruiting experience is desired; both technical and non-technical.
  • Excellent communication skills, and demonstrated ability to develop consultative relationships.
  • Robust interpersonal skills with supervisor and staff populations.
  • Strong computer literacy skills with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, Human Resources preferred, or equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in full lifecycle recruiting

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $65,400.00 to $95,200.00. This role is also eligible for a bonus. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
