| Job Description |
Represents Target Operations in a wide variety of areas within the test range environment. Manages and performs test preparation, set-up, execution, logistics, data collection, and reporting for various Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), Sensors, tethered aerostat surveillance, aircraft weapons, electronic warfare, and a wide variety of sensor platform training and testing programs. Operates various types of Remote Control (RC) Aircraft, both fixed and rotary winged. Participates in the planning, coordination, execution and conduct of field-testing in various roles from data acquisition up to direction of testing in progress. Must maintain a Limited Test Officer Certification within the Aviation Systems and Electronic Test Division (ASET). Accesses and uses the YPG scheduling system to assist with projecting personnel and equipment requirements. Selects, sets up, and operates standard test equipment and records test data. Supports compiling and verifying test data. Assists with processing data, identifying errors or inconsistencies, and selecting methods of data presentation. Receives, transports, emplaces, and ships supplies, test items, and equipment while maintaining accountability. Represents the Senior Test Officer to external customers and support organizations. Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills in person, on the telephone, and in written correspondence (such as e-mail). Performs assignments that are not completely standardized, selects or adapts standard procedures using applicable precedents, receives initial instructions and performs recurring work independently. Exercises high levels of initiative and excellent judgement. Provides daily and as-needed feedback to Senior Test Officers to provide useful information for decision-making. Works with Test Officer to implement requirements for placement and operation of target vehicles and related assets. Maintains control of target array and ensures target operations are executed in accordance with test plan and operational procedures and instructions. Supports planning, coordinating, monitoring, executing, and reporting on assigned test programs. May serve as primary point of contact for one or more test program's target requirements. Provides guidance and mentorship to co-workers. Performs other duties as required to complete the assigned mission. This position is covered under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Pay Rate:$49.59
Education/Licenses/Certifications/Experience Requirements:
*Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. *Must be a certified TUAS test officer within the Aviation Systems and Electronic Test Division (ASET). *Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a UAS Operator. *Must possess an FAA Part 107 Remote Airman Certificate. *Must have 5 years of experience providing test support services within military test ranges. *Must be a Certified UAS Trainer within the Aviation Systems and Electronic Test (ASET) Division. *Must have at least 3 years of successfully holding positions with progressive leadership.
Job Skills Requirements: *Must have knowledge of and experience operating within FAA Airspace requirements. *Must have working knowledge of maintaining and repairing UAS systems and R/C, telemetry, video transmitters and receivers, and associated software. *Must have the ability to communicate with customers, coworkers, support personnel, military, government, management, and senior officials in a professional, positive, and customer-focused manner. *Must be proficient with Microsoft Office - including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Physical Requirements:
*Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests. *Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned. *Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions including summer temperatures peaking around 120 degrees Fahrenheit. *Must meet the physical requirements necessary to perform operations outlined, performed, and stated in the SOPs for Aviation and TRAX. *Must be able to work long and varied hours. *Must be capable of frequent bending, squatting, crouching, kneeling, standing, climbing, and stooping, sometimes for long periods. *Must be able to ascend and descend equipment, including large vehicles as high as 8-10 feet. *Must be able to visually distinguish colors. *Must be capable of lifting 75 lbs. unassisted.

Additional Desirable Qualifications:
*Knowledge of military systems, accounting procedures, and military logistics. *Level II Ammo Certification. *Current A, A, & E Certification. *Possess Class A Arizona Commercial Driver's License. *Able to multi-task, be highly organized, and possess a willingness to adapt to changing situations in a fast paced work environment. *Be mechanically-inclined.
Terms of Employment & Eligibility Requirements:
*Must be a U.S. Citizen and not hold multiple citizenships. *Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment. *Must be a current TRAX employee or affiliate subcontractor for internal postings.
