Co-Lab Professional Fabrication & Design Specialist Be You. The Innovation Co-Lab within Duke University's Office of Information Technology (OIT) is seeking a Co-Lab Professional Fabrication & Design Specialist to lead the Bluesmith and DesignHub professional fabrication services. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and technically skilled professional to help students, faculty, and staff transform innovative ideas into reality through advanced design and fabrication technologies. In this highly collaborative, hands-on role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for fabrication and design projects from initial consultation through final delivery. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in a creative field or equivalent experience Experience creating 3D models using CAD software Experience with additive manufacturing technologies Demonstrated experience managing fabrication workflows Strong communication and problem-solving skills Be Bold. What You'll Do Lead daily operations of Bluesmith and DesignHub Manage fabrication equipment, inventory, and service delivery Design and deliver workshops and training Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and researchers Mentor and supervise student employees Choose Duke.
