Job Description The Department of French & Italian maintains a pool of lecturers and teaching specialists to teach French and Italian courses, mostly lower-division language skills courses, that cannot be staffed by regular faculty or graduate teaching assistants. These positions may be full- or part-time for fall or spring semesters, and summer. These positions are for day, evening, or a combination of day/evening courses, taught on a semester basis. Salary range is competitive based upon qualifications. This does not constitute a posting for vacancies, but establishes a pool of applicants should openings occur during the academic year. Applicants will be selected from this pool on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Qualifications

About the Department The Department of French & Italian (FRIT) supports undergraduate and graduate education in French, Francophone, and Italian language, literature, culture, linguistics, and media while fostering multilingualism, intercultural competence, and global engagement.
