Requirements

• Previous scale house, logistics, transportation, or administrative experience preferred
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and company procedures

Job Duties

• Weigh inbound and outbound trucks using the truck scale system
• Sign drivers in and out and provide necessary instructions
• Print truck load pick lists electronically
• Ensure drivers are wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Prepare bills of lading and other shipping documentation
• Verify trucks have the proper equipment for each load
• Confirm all loads meet allowable weight tolerances
• Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
• Schedule and manage appointments using CarrierPoint
• Perform scale and radiation monitoring tests in accordance with the radiation safety plan
• Operate both inbound and outbound scale stations independently
• Assist fellow Truck Scale team members as needed
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment
