The Director of Market Operations will lead the strategic and day-to-day execution of market participation for a diversified renewable energy portfolio, including solar, wind, battery storage, and flexible load assets. This role is responsible for optimizing asset performance across multiple U.S. wholesale power markets while ensuring compliance with regulatory, reliability, and contractual obligations. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across ISO/RTO markets (CAISO, PJM, ERCOT, SPP, MISO), strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record managing complex energy portfolios.
Market Strategy & Optimization
Develop and execute market participation strategies across CAISO, PJM, ERCOT, SPP, and MISO to maximize portfolio value.
Oversee bidding, scheduling, dispatch optimization, and real-time operations for renewable and storage assets.
Identify and implement opportunities for revenue enhancement, including arbitrage, capacity markets, and emerging products.
Deep expertise across at least three major ISOs/RTOs: CAISO, PJM, ERCOT, SPP, MISO (experience in all preferred).
