Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Conyers, GA

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Operations Controller with financial accuracy, maintenance of the Company's cost system, pricing analysis, and supporting continuous improvement and alignment between cost and price. This position will report to the Operations Controller and receive guidance from the Pricing Manager.

What you will be responsible for in this role:

  • Maintain and enhance the accuracy and usefulness of the Company's cost system.
  • Execute the annual standard cost roll
  • Deep dive into monthly Purchase Price Variances (PPV) and Production Volume Variances to explain variances from the forecast or budget
  • Run labor efficiency meetings, material yield and waste tracking, and capacity utilization analysis to support SIOP planning
  • Build and maintain pricing models to evaluate different pricing strategies and their potential impact on revenue and profit margins.
  • Monitoring competitor pricing strategies and identifying opportunities to differentiate pricing based on value proposition
  • Presenting data-driven recommendations for pricing adjustments, promotional pricing, and new product pricing strategies
  • Assessing the cost structure of products and services to inform pricing decisions.
  • Other duties as assigned, according to the changing needs of the business.

What are the basic qualifications?

  • B.S. in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years progressive experience in Costing and / or Pricing Analysis
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment

To be a great fit for the role:

  • Willingness to 'get hands dirty' and spend time on plant floor to establish link of physicals to financials
  • Knowledge of the refrigeration industry and products
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Excellent at Excel with experience using Visual Basic.Experience with Power BI is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to present data to all levels in the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills. Lean & Six Sigma certification are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Pricing Analyst, Financial Analyst, or a comparable role, preferably within equipment manufacturing or related industry.
  • Strong financial acumen, with advanced skills in financial modeling, data analysis, and Excel.
  • Understanding pricing methodologies, cost structures, and market dynamics.
    Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for productive collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset to ensure precise financial calculations and analyses
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines
