Job Position Accountabilities / Expectations
- Controllership
- Maintain a strong internal controls ensuring the financial integrity of our financial condition and results.
- Maintain financial control systems including but not limited to (i) all balance sheet accounts reconciled on a monthly basis in each entity, (ii) Periodic balance sheet reviews with the International Finance Director/Business Leader.
- Along with internal controls, coordinate and manage the company's statutory records and requirements, shareholder requirements and ensure strong corporate governance.
- Direct and coordinate the preparation of financial reports and forecasts consistent with the US and local accounting standards and shareholder requirements.
- Work with 3rd party outsourced vendor for book-keeping and accounting.
- Preparation and finalization of monthly close activities and review of Balance sheet schedules
- Maintain a solid credit control and support the S&OP process from credit release perspective, with periodic review of adequacy of customer credit terms/limit.
- Direct and manage the taxation accounting, planning, and reporting requirements consistent with local regulatory requirements, respective laws, and overall corporate objectives
- Coordinate various audits including Tax Audits, SOX & Internal Audits and support the preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation.
- Manage cash flows and working capital within the Australia/NZ entities ensuring appropriate working capital and minimal inventory writeoffs.
- Support cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures; providing forecasts; explaining processes and techniques; recommending actions and support the International Finance Director.
- Direct and control Fixed Assets accounting.
- Identify and make recommendations that optimize business processes and improve financial and other internal controls.
- Business Partnership
- Provide tax and treasury services to the Australia/NZ enttiy in close coordination with the Regnioal/Corporate accounting and tax teams in the U.S.
- Use financial expertise and counsel to provide insightful analysis, commentary and bring balance regarding strategy, sales performance and actions, knowledge of business objectives and priorities. Act as counsel to Australia/NZ Business Leader regarding how best to manage country P/L.
- Work closely with Australia/NZ Business Head, Commercial and Sales Team for pricing, product costing and margin optimization plans in line with business objective.
- FP&A
- To support the quarterly forecasts and the annual budget. To support the review and analysis of the plan/forecast with relevant stakeholders in collaboration with the regional FP&A lead.
- To analyse and provide explanation for major deviation from the Plan and Forecast.
- Collaborate with the FP&A team lead for the region on the Sales incentive computation and related accounting treatment

Qualifications / Education / Experience / Skills Required
- Qualified CA with 8-10 years' experience in Finance & Accounts function, with exposure in FP&A role.
- Knowledge or prior experience with SAP S4 Hana, BPC, Vistex and other systems as needed.
- Strategic thinking, Ability to influence and persuade, Knowledge of SAP systems and related technologies,
- Hands-on experience working with an outsourced vendor.
- Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines.
