Industrial Painter Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience; industrial painting experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Experience using paint application equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and production specifications.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • ERP system experience (Epicor or similar) and Lean Manufacturing knowledge are a plus



Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
  • Comfortable working in high-heat conditions while wearing a respirator, paint suit, and required PPE.
  • Ability to safely use tools and equipment in various working positions.


Job Duties



  • Prepare, paint, and finish manufactured parts using customer-specific industrial coatings.
  • Operate and maintain industrial spray guns, sandblasting equipment, pressure washers, overhead cranes, and scissor lifts.
  • Inspect painted products for quality, accuracy, coating thickness, and compliance with specifications.
  • Monitor paint inventory, replace filters, and communicate supply needs to supervisors and purchasing teams.
  • Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain equipment, clean spray guns, and keep work areas organized and safe.
  • Assist other production departments as needed and support continuous improvement initiatives.
