Commercial Strategy Manager I

As a Commercial Strategy Manager I, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, customer behavior, and business performance, helping to shape decisions that drive growth and customer value . You may also support the go-to-market strategies for our software and research content products.

What you will do:

  • Conduct market research to support commercial strategy development.
  • Analyze Voice of Customer (VoC) data to generate actionable customer and market insights.
  • Develop performance dashboards to support business performance monitoring and decision-making.
  • Synthesize market research, VoC, and business performance data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Oversee and optimize research operations, participant management, and research processes.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate insights into strategic initiatives, action plans, and business decisions.
  • Contribute to quarterly business reporting, annual planning, and other strategic planning activities.

You need to have:

  • 3+ years of experience in market research, Voice of Customer (VoC), product strategy, pricing, GTM planning, partnerships, or related analytical roles.
  • Experience designing and executing customer research for SaaS or B2B products, including surveys, interviews, and Voice of Customer programs.
  • Experience designing, programming, and managing surveys using Qualtrics or similar survey platforms, including survey deployment, sample development, and participant management.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and data visualization skills, including experience using SQL to query enterprise databases and develop research samples; proficiency in at least one data analysis tool (e.g., Python, R, SAS, SPSS, or Stata); and experience analyzing research, product usage, and business performance data and developing dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar business intelligence platforms.
  • Knowledge of SaaS business metrics and KPIs, such as ARR, ACV, retention, product adoption, customer health, and other commercial performance measures.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights and communicate clear recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting research findings and influencing Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and senior leadership.
  • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Compensation Range:

$70,000.00-$100,000.00

Placement in the salary range will be decided upon completion of the interview process. Salary determination will be determined based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience, demonstrated skills related to the requirements of the role, education, certifications, and geographic location.
