Summary

The Cold Warehouse is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations within a temperature-controlled environment, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods. This role leads and supports warehouse staff and enforces safety compliance standards while working in cold conditions. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, experience in warehouse operations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Lift Truck Operator, Battery Room Attendant, Warehouse Clerk, Inventory Specialist, and Shift Lead.

    * Fulfill orders of Finished Goods to Departments as needed in a timely, safe and sanitary manner, First In First Out (FIFO) order, documenting and reporting any variance.

    * Document all training.

    * Train and Share knowledge with team Members to help improve their skills.

    * Keep well maintained, legible documents and have them turned into the office in a timely manner.

    * Be involved in implementing solutions and ideas in the department.

    * Monitor team members with a focus on Safety, Quality and Efficiencies.

    * Maintain a strong focus on Safety, Quality and Efficiencies.

    * Work with other departments to create and maintain a "whole team" atmosphere.

    * Keep areas clean and organized following the 5-S guidelines.

    * Enforce and observe all safety rules and regulations as put forth by Chobani and OSHA.

    * Operate all industrial powered vehicles required for assigned area efficiently and in a safe manner.

    * Properly inspect and receive inbound/outbound loads in a timely, safe, and sanitary manner.

    * Fill out all necessary paperwork accurately, legibly and correctly for each load.

    * Ensure cold goods are delivered, stored, and rotated within First in First out guidelines (FIFO) and in a safe and sanitary manner.

    * Ensure paperwork is turned in, in a timely manner.

    * Must keep equipment in good working order and use lock out tag out procedures for non-operation equipment.

    * Must be able to communicate issues, needs, and other pertinent information with all appropriate and necessary personnel.

    * Write and deliver Performance Reviews, and coaching/ disciplinary action when needed.

    * Perform interviews and choose the best candidate for each open position.

    * Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, bachelor's degree preferred in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.

    * 2 years of leadership experience preferred.

    * Strong knowledge of warehouse operations.

    * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

    * Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff.

    * Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    * Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy.

    * Ability to work in cold environment for extended periods.

    * Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 Hours.

    * Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 60 pounds.

    * Reliable attendance and punctuality.

The salary range for this full-time position is $60,500.00 - $95,700.00, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
