Description and Requirements

The North America (NA) Alliances team develops and manages strategic partnerships that drive mutual growth and business outcomes for Lenovo and its alliance partners. We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Alliances Budget Planner to join the team and serve as a critical enabler of operational excellence, funding optimization, and strategic growth.

This position plays a key role in maximizing end-to-end partner investments, increasing funding utilization, and providing the data-driven insights needed to strengthen partner funding strategic allocations.

This role serves as the central point of coordination for partner investment planning and funding utilization across the NA Alliances organization and will be the one-stop-shop source of NA alliances funding through a centralized site.


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Alliance funding planning, optimization, and governance across North America.
  • Lead annual and quarterly budget planning in partnership with Alliance Leads, Marketing Operations and other areas that depend on alliances programs.
  • Provide guidance to optimize partner investments, ensuring funds are allocated to the highest-priority business opportunities and fully utilized.
  • Develop and maintain funding tracking through dashboards, reporting, and insights to drive visibility, accountability, and informed decision-making.
  • Act as the "Partners Chessboard Master," balancing investments across programs, initiatives, and stakeholders to maximize business impact.
  • Maintain expertise in partner funding models, programs, and investment vehicles, identifying opportunities to support Lenovo growth objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning, execution, and funding management processes to increase operational efficiency and investment effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Operations, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in technology, partner ecosystems, business operations, finance, marketing, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience managing partner funding, program investments, budgets, or financial planning processes.
  • Strong budget management and financial planning experience.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of driving results with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
  • Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Working knowledge of Lenovo products, services, partner ecosystems, or similar technology industry environments.
