Description

Join a Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Top Workplace hall of fame company, 17 years in a row! Maybe it's our focus on employee development, maybe it's the generous time off, or just that we are an Employees First company altogether (check it out), but there's a reason why you'll find most of our employees have made Inpro their career, not just a job. You give your all and so do we!

ABOUT THE ROLE

Inpro is looking for a 2nd Shift Material Handling Lead to keep our sheet, profile, and injection-molded product moving smoothly from manufacturing to storage. You'll be the steady hand on the floor overnight - coordinating material handlers, holding both 2nd and 3rd shift teams accountable to their roles, and modeling the safety standards and leadership that keep our warehouse running right. If you're organized, dependable, and ready to lead by example on the floor, we'd like to hear from you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Assist material handlers with day-to-day put-away and product flow
- Keep manufactured product moving efficiently from production into storage
- Build and communicate a nightly plan for putting product away
- Maintain constant product rotation using FIFO (first in, first out)
- Manage e-mail communications for the shift
- Maintain and promote ISO standards across the floor
- Lead nightly clean-up efforts
- Pull monthly scrap
- Pull and combine empty boxes as needed
- Follow all safety rules and hold others accountable to them
- Take on other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer literacy, with the ability to learn our systems (NetSuite / employee portal)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability and comfort directing others
- Ability to train new employees
- Working knowledge of InPro products (or ability to learn quickly)
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Standing lift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Willingness to learn our barcode process
