Position Description
Climate by Design International is seeking an experienced Electrical Wiring Assembler III to join our production team. In this role, you will perform electrical installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on custom HVAC equipment while ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate is a skilled electrical professional who can work independently, solve complex electrical issues, and mentor less experienced team members.
Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret complex electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Wire HVAC units according to customer and engineering specifications.
  • Install and connect electrical panels, switches, motors, and other electrical components.
  • Independently wire motors and units, run conduit, and assist with control panel wiring.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues encountered during assembly.
  • Perform final inspections of completed units to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Maintain familiarity with electrical inventory and line stock requirements.
  • Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety regulations.
Required Education & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Electrical training required.
  • Postsecondary electrical coursework preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Electrical Journeyman certificationor 7-10 years of electrical experience preferred.
  • Experience reading and working with electrical diagrams and wiring schematics.
  • Experience installing and running conduit, including EMT, Rigid, Liquid Tight, and Flex conduit.
  • Experience working with HVAC equipment preferred.
