Position Summary

The Transfer Press Cell Operator operates transfer molding presses in accordance with established procedures, processes, routers, and work instructions. The position performs post-bond operations, cleans and packages parts to requirements, supports team production flow, and maintains required production and quality documentation. The role requires good judgment and initiative to arrange job sequence and support effective utilization of time and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate transfer molding presses in accordance with applicable procedures, processes, routers, and work instructions.

  • Perform post-bond operations as required.

  • Clean parts to print and package parts per router requirements.

  • Assist team members with press cycling, cleaning parts, and packaging activities.

  • Perform break relief, material handling, 5S, and other indirect manufacturing functions as needed.

  • Maintain relevant production and quality records in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Monitor control points for related equipment and support effective production flow.

  • Diagnose minor manufacturing issues and make necessary adjustments.

  • Arrange the sequence of jobs using good judgment and initiative to achieve effective utilization of time and equipment.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

COMPETENCIES

REQUIRED

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written and/or verbal procedures, processes, and instructions.

  • Ability to complete required paperwork in a timely fashion.

  • Ability to maintain relevant production and quality records.

  • Demonstrated good judgment and initiative in arranging work sequence to support efficient use of time and equipment.

  • Ability to support team members and contribute to production flow in a manufacturing environment.

  • Effective communication.


WORK EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED

  • 1 year of manufacturing experience, or similar direct labor experience


EDUCATION
REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or equivalent

LANGUAGES
REQUIRED

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
