Our client is seeking a talented individual to join its dynamic team to bring creative visions to life. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the visual landscape of its marketing efforts, ensuring every piece of collateral is polished, precise, and perfectly aligned with our brand standards. Your expertise in layout, typography, and file preparation will directly influence the effectiveness and reach of campaigns, touching countless individuals and supporting critical initiatives. As a Production Designer, you will be at the forefront of creating and refining marketing materials, with a particular focus on print. Your technical precision and understanding of design systems will be key to maintaining consistency and efficiency across all projects. You will work within a fast-paced, collaborative setting, continuously seeking ways to optimize processes and elevate the quality of our deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Create precise layouts for a diverse range of print and digital marketing collateral, including guides, mailers, postcards, digital posters, web banners, and emails.
  • Develop and maintain robust design systems to ensure efficient, consistent, and repeatable designs, especially for long-form content.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Design and Senior Designers to meet project timelines and deliver high-quality work.
  • Partner with Copywriters, Copy Editors, and Account Managers to implement changes and updates to materials as needed.
  • Execute edits and updates based on stakeholder feedback, ensuring accuracy and consistency across multiple versions of a single piece.
  • Apply fundamental principles of good layout design, including typography, color theory, and information hierarchies.
  • Adhere to best practices for digital accessibility in all design outputs.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control standards for all produced materials.
  • Contribute to the conceptualization phase of design projects when opportunities arise.


Must-Have Qualifications:



  • High-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, with expert-level skills in InDesign and Illustrator.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Strong technical approach to layouts and meticulous preparation of files for production.
  • In-depth understanding of design software and efficient workflow practices.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining design systems, with a keen eye for typography.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in preparing print materials for final release to print vendors.
  • Willingness to be flexible and adapt to quickly changing priorities.
  • A balanced blend of creative thinking and technical acumen.
  • A quick learner when it comes to new platforms, systems, and processes.
  • A collaborative approach to working effectively with project managers, proofreaders, designers, and writers.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications:



  • Experience with Workfront.
  • Experience with Figma.


The target hiring compensation range for this role is $30.00- $34.00 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location
