Responsibilities We are looking to add a Junior Software Engineer/Developer to our team of talented professionals! In this role, you will:
Be responsible for developing, testing and maintaining a complex distributed processing application utilizing python and Java.
Qualifications Mandatory Qualification:
* Minimum 3 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 7 years of relevant experience with a High School diploma in lieu of a degree.
* Ability to work independently.
* Strong Python development with JAVA experience or Strong JAVA Development with python experience.
* Experience with distributed workloads via Spark/Hadoop
* Must have SQL skills; Snowflake experience a plus.
* AWS experience.
* Shell scripting experience.
* Team player
* Excellent executive function and communication skills.
* US Citizen or Green Card holder and must have been in the USA for 3 of the last 5 years.
Strongly Preferred Qualifications:
* Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience; certification preferred.
* CLI Linux experience.
* Visual Studio (VS code) or other IDE experience.
* Job scheduling / process automation experience.
* Rules-based model experience.
* Experience working with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) information systems.
* CMS/Medicare or Medicaid claims experience.

Target Salary Range $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
