Cybersecurity/Network Engineer
Overview Electric Boat's Tactical Software Engineering department designs, tests, and installs software for US Navy Nuclear Submarines. Electric Boat is seeking highly skilled Cybersecurity and Network Engineers to support the architecture, design, implementation, and testing of software deliverables, and support the build out of a new multi-site software-specific development network supporting component and systems labs. This role is critical to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of both ship-board and enterprise systems used to design the world's most advanced submarines. What you'll be doing: You will play a critical role in architecting secure network solutions, engineering security into cutting edge software, enforcing cybersecurity best practices, and supporting business scalability through architecting and building out resilient high-performing infrastructure.
Interface closely with hardware, systems, software, and test engineering departments.
