DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position carries out skilled maintenance and repair work across Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores, warehouses, and offices. The role supports safe, functional, and attractive facilities needed for smooth operations. As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Facility Construction: Build and install shelving, partitions, platforms, counters, and related structures
- Door and Lock Work: Repair door frames, adjust closers, hang doors, and install locking devices
- Electrical Systems: Install wiring, lighting, circuits, and components in line with electrical codes
- Plumbing Tasks: Repair or install pipes, fixtures, and mechanisms following trade standards
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain power tools, hand tools, and maintenance vehicles
- Emergency Response: Secure damaged sites, remove debris, and provide temporary repairs during emergencies

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: The starting salary for this position for new Commonwealth employees is fixed at the minimum salary listed above and is not negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Special Requirement:
- This position requires possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

- You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
