  • Coordinate the collection of authoritative operational, intelligence, threat, and planning data needed to build mission context, scenarios, and analytic artifacts.
  • Facilitate alignment between mission owners and engineering teams, ensuring assumptions, constraints, and planned analyses match realworld mission execution.
  • Support validation of architectures, mission threads, and modeling assumptions through continuous engagement with stakeholders and subjectmatter authorities.
  • Provide operational insight to improve the fidelity of mission engineering products, including mission characterization, MET/MT development, and M&S design.
  • Maintain documentation of stakeholder engagements, data lineage, analytic assumptions, and coordination workflows to support repeatable, transparent ME practices.
Experience Requirements:
  • 15 years of experience in military operations, operational planning, intelligence support, mission engineering, or operational analysis within DoD organizations.
  • 7 years of direct experience working with Joint Staff, CCMDs, Service component staff, or IC organizations in mission planning, capability development, or operational analysis roles.
  • 3 years supporting mission engineering, concept development, mission thread creation, scenario development, mission characterization, or constructive analysis efforts.
  • Demonstrated experience collecting, validating, and synthesizing authoritative operational and threat data from warfighter and intelligence organizations.
  • Working knowledge of Joint operational constructs, planning processes, and multidomain mission execution.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex operational issues to engineering teams and represent technical findings to operational decision-makers.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Engineering, National Security Studies, Intelligence Studies, or related technical discipline; OR
  • Certificate from advanced Professional Military Education (PME) relevant to Military Training and/or Military Planning.
Clearance:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
