This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Greenwich Drive (San Diego, CA) and remote. Recognized organization-wide expert in workforce management systems, including enterprise timekeeping, advanced scheduling, reporting, and related business processes. Has significant impact and influence on organizational policy, system governance, and program development. Regularly leads projects and initiatives of critical importance to the organization, where outcomes directly affect payroll accuracy, labor compliance, workforce operations, and employee experience. These projects carry substantial consequences of success or failure. Directs programs with organization-wide impact, and may have impact beyond the University, that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, system configurations, integrations, and resources supporting enterprise workforce management operations. Significant barriers to entry exist at this level due to the specialized knowledge required in enterprise timekeeping, advanced scheduling, labor agreements, complex pay rules, and highly integrated workforce management systems. Having wide-ranging experience, applies advanced business process, workforce management, and systems analysis concepts and organizational objectives to resolve issues, up to and including the most complex, with campus, medical center, institution-wide, and multi-functional impact. Maintains deep expertise in the configuration and administration of enterprise workforce management systems, ensuring that scheduling, timekeeping, payroll, reporting, and integrated business processes operate cohesively across a 24/7 healthcare environment. Works on issues, up to and including the most complex, with little or no organizational precedent, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple variable factors, competing operational priorities, regulatory requirements, labor agreements, and organizational objectives. Serves as a recognized subject matter expert in workforce management technology, including timekeeping and scheduling processes, enterprise application configuration, reporting and analytics, and system integrations. Provides expert consultation and influences decisions affecting workforce operations, enterprise system strategy, and long-term program sustainability. Recognized as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for enterprise workforce management solutions across the organization. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $119,400 - $230,800 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $57.18 - $110.54 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). | |
