Ecolab has an immediate need for an Operational Excellence Leader (Total Productive Maintenance) in our manufacturing plant located in Philadelphia, PA. As the TPM Manager, you will drive the implementation, growth, and sustainability of Total Productive Maintenance as "how we do the work". As a member of the plant leadership team, you will offer TPM leadership and expertise and be key in building the capability of all the TPM Pillars. What will you do:

  • Aligning plant and distribution center resources with business priorities of Safety, Quality, Service and Savings
  • Assist in the creation, deployment, and execution of the site Master Plan
  • Lead the overall TPM strategy at the site, lead a TPM Pillar as part of the plant TPM Steering Committee and be an active participant in other pillars
  • Actively participate as a hands-on operations team member, engaging in daily management systems and identifying opportunities for improvement on a continuous basis
  • Advocate for change in a continuous improvement environment by prioritizing and managing CI initiatives
  • Build and coach effective teams that advance the site Vision and Compelling Business Needs
  • Drive productivity efficiency and loss elimination by engaging associates at all levels
  • Lead the site's progression of TPM through Ecolab's Journey to Bronze Assessment
  • Deliver TPM training aligned with training plans and support the skills required to create a Loss Analysis culture.
  • Participate as a member of the regional TPM Community of Practice (CoP), sharing best practices and driving the organization to high performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • 7 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain environment
  • 5 years of experience in CI Systems methodology (OPEX) including TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified and/or project management office certified
  • Experience in coaching and leading cross-functional teams, especially in productivity efficiency and loss elimination (Root Cause Analysis, Kaizen, PDCA) projects
  • Working knowledge of TPM (Operational excellence and lean manufacturing) and HPO principles and methodology (5S, Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement, Visual Management, Kaizen, Organizational Design)
  • Strong leadership skills with the proven ability to set a vision, manage change, develop others and strategically plan for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders and influence at all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Logistics, Science
  • 10 years of experience in a manufacturing, supply chain environment
  • 7 years leading TPM implementation and leaning six sigma in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong financial acumen with costing background
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
  • Experience leading process improvement projects for chemical processes
  • Proven experience driving culture change using sound change management methodology

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $107,600.00 - $161,500.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
