Are you a seasoned fire protection professional who thrives on leading field teams, optimizing service operations, and ensuring work is delivered safely, accurately, and on time? Do you bring the leadership and technical expertise to elevate inspection and service performance while maintaining strong client relationships?

CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking an Inspection & Service Leader to join our Fire Protection Services Team in Concord, NC. In this role, you will oversee the full scope of service and inspection operations-coordinating field teams, managing performance, and ensuring high-quality delivery across installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance activities.



What You'll Do:

    Supervise and support Field Technicians and Inspectors, providing leadership, direction, and day-to-day operational oversight
  • Coordinate scheduling and assignment of service work, inspections, and small-scale tenant projects
  • Ensure all field activities are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with customer expectations
  • Track and report departmental financial performance, supporting operational and business decisions
  • Establish performance goals, monitor progress, and drive accountability across the team
  • Partner with leadership to identify training and development opportunities that strengthen team capability
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, fire codes, and internal safety and operational policies


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, business, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • Minimum of 7 years fire protection inspection & service experience, including 3 years in a leadership role
  • NICET Level II certification required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • OSHA-10 required
  • Strong working knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 25 and industry-standard inspection and service practices
  • Proven ability to manage teams, workflows, and performance in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience overseeing scope, budget, and scheduling for field operations
  • Financial awareness with the ability to monitor and report on departmental performance
  • Clear, confident communicator who can engage effectively across field staff, leadership, and clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities
  • OSHA-30 and backflow certifications preferred

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $125,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
