Position Summary

The Senior Assembler will perform assembly work utilizing lean principles (one-piece flow) to produce VHP capital products in a controlled work environment. Assemble sub-assemblies and capital equipment to be moved to test for release to the Customer. Build quality assemblies using blueprints, procedures, and fixtures. Follow ISO 9001 standards and follow written and verbal instructions, using a variety of hand tools and automated equipment. Collaborates with people from other departments, both inside and outside manufacturing, with little to no supervision. As a Senior Assembler, you will provide training, mentoring, and expertise as requested.

What you'll Do as a Senior Assembler
  • Assemble equipment, components, and sub-assemblies using hand tools and test equipment
  • Read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions
  • Perform quality checks and testing to ensure products meet specifications
  • Troubleshoot issues and help resolve assembly problems
  • Complete basic documentation (device history records, work orders, serial numbers, etc.)
  • Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing practices
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • Train and mentor other team members as needed
The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with blueprints, wiring, or piping assemblies.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to use hand tools and basic test equipment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, or similar systems).

Preferred:

  • Experience with Lean manufacturing (5S, continuous improvement) is a plus.

Other:

  • Experience working in a Manufacturing/production setting.
  • Requires standing for long periods and regular hand use.
  • Will involve lifting and moving materials upwards to 50 lbs.
  • Overtime or flexible shifts may be required.

Pay range for this opportunity is$19.52-$25.26.This position is eligible for bonus participation.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
