Position Type:Permanent Full Time/Part Time:Full Time

$21.94 to $24.13 hourly. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Government Center/Viera. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Performs experienced paraprofessional work coordinating and expediting procurement activities to include expediting the purchase of commodities, supplies, and services in connection with the central purchasing operation of the county. Provides administrative support to the Procurement Analyst staff and serves as the central document coordinator for all contracts and documents in the Contract Management Database.



REQUIREMENTS: Four (4) years of progressively responsible administrative and/or office experience. Must possess strong organization, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word software. One (1) year in a procurement environment is preferred. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster which may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
