Job Description

Kearney & Company is currently seeking a Logistics Modernization Consultant to join our Washington DC metro area team. The Consultant will be required to provide management and leadership in an organization requiring strategic planning, policy and industry program development, materiel management, supply chain management, life cycle and resource management.

Responsibilities:
* Perform analysis and provide process improvement recommendations on complex logistical issues
* Demonstrate knowledge with and document operational procedures related Supply Support Activities (SSA) and Authorized Stockage List (ASL)
* Apply experience with Global Combat Support System (GCSS), Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) and other logistical automated systems and data bases to improve agency-wide efficiency
* Develop and maintain supply chain management standard operating procedures and policies
* Demonstrate proficiency in Supply Classes 1 - 9
* Develop methods and tools to evaluate program activities and effectiveness
* Monitor and identify potential problem area shortfalls and recommend corrective actions
* Knowledge of logistics integration including life cycle management and logistics applications and processes
* Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies dealing with working capital funds


Qualifications

  • BA/BS/BBA degree from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, accounting, audit, information systems, project management, data analytics, or a related field. An advanced degree or certification may be substituted for one year of experience.
  • Subject knowledge and formal training in a related and relevant field (supply chain management, information systems, project management, data analytics, logistics, etc.)
  • Must have an active Interim Secret Clearance (or higher, such as Secret, Top Secret or TS/SCI) to be considered for this role (requires U.S. citizenship)

Preferred Qualifications

  • One of the following professional certifications: CPA, CISA, CIA, CGFM or CDFM.
  • Experience working with the Federal Government and/or DoD clients Experience in federal/DoD financial statement auditing, audit remediation, and audit readiness

The expected salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $140,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
