CNC Operator II - 2nd Shift
2nd Shift offers a $2.00/hr shift differential on top of regular hourly pay
Key Responsibilities
* Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines to produce precision
components.
* Read and interpret complex blueprints, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
specifications, and work instructions.
* Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and
other precision tools.
* Maintain machine performance and ensure parts meet quality and tolerance
requirements.
* Support continuous improvement eAorts to optimize processes, reduce waste, and
enhance eAiciency.
* Follow all safety and quality procedures in a clean, organized work environment.
Required Qualifications
* 2+ years of CNC machining experience (milling, turning, or grinding).
* Strong understanding of machining fundamentals, tooling, feeds/speeds, and setup
processes.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and
Tolerancing
* Experience with quality inspection tools and verifying tight tolerances.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred (Not Required)
* Exposure to 4-axis or 5-axis machining environments.
* Basic understanding of G-code or CNC programming.
* Experience with Penta, Haas, Combi or similar platforms.
* Background in precision manufacturing industries (aerospace, medical device,
defense, etc.).
