About the Opportunity:

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Compliance Leader will provide directions to support and ensure that Quality policies, practices and procedures comply to all customer contract requirements, as well as applicable industry and regulatory standards to maintain an effective Quality Management System.

Location:

This role will be onsite 100% of the time.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead creation and maintenance of the internal and external audit schedule
  • Lead and actively participate on the internal audit team, completing audits per the schedule
  • Support document control activities
  • Acquire access to customer portals, respond appropriately to customer inquiries and follow up on due dates for corrective actions related to audits
  • Train new employees on quality compliance requirements
  • Train all employees annually on quality compliance requirements
  • Communicate current customer audit activity and results to management
  • Drive quality system improvements into unit flow lines and inspection stations based on lessons learned and best practices
  • Drive systemic corrective and preventative actions for the quality management system including read across corrective actions on applicable impacted product
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues impacting quality and delivery on identified product
  • Capable of communicating with all levels of the organization such as Operators, Engineers, Leads, Planners, Management, etc.
  • Promote quality by mentoring colleagues and less experienced employees
  • Observe all Company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and security.


Required Qualifications:

  • High School or equivalent
  • 3 years quality and/or manufacturing experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or related technical degree
  • Inspection experience
  • Must be able to interpret blueprints, engineering sketches, and technical documents to determine appropriate measurement methods
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Clear communication (oral and written) skills
  • Ability to keep accurate records

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
  • Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
