CF Industries has many exciting and challenging opportunities at its world class production facility in Yazoo City Mississippi. Technicians in this position are responsible for maintaining, repairing and replacing physical equipment in a chemical manufacturing facility.
Successful incumbents will have: High School Diploma or GED required. AA Degree or Technical Certificates and/or licenses preferred. Minimum of 5+ years as pipefitter/welder. Must be able to perform TIG and shielded metal arc welding on high pressure stainless steel and carbon steel process piping per ASME Code. Must pass welding test on GMAQ and SMAW according to R Stamp Procedure. Possess proficient computer skills in a Microsoft Office environment. Effective organizational, time management and communications skills. Ability to effectively follow instructions, policies, and procedures. Works in a safe manner that promotes the health and well-being of the individual and the environment. The job occasionally requires overtime and call-outs on weekends, nights and holidays.
